Pokémon Emerald Imperium – Version 1.0 (January 28, 2025)

New Additions

Granite Cave Care Package: Now includes Damp Rocks, Icy Rocks, and Smooth Rocks.

Light Clay Added:

  • Included in the Route 110 care package.
  • Now available for purchase in Mauville City Mart.
Early Access to Goodra: Overworld rain added to Route 102 to facilitate Goodra’s evolution.

Shiny Charm Added:

  • Included in the starting care package from Professor Birch.
  • For existing saves: An NPC in Oldale Town will provide the Shiny Charm if you haven’t received one yet.

New Cheat Code – “ShinyS”:

  • Guarantees shiny starters at the beginning of the game.
  • Works for randomized starters as well.

Changes

EV Removal: Pokémon found before Wattson no longer have Effort Values (EVs) (applies to non-MGM versions only).
Randomizer Pool Adjustments: Removed Let’s Go Eevee from the randomizer.

Encounter Location Swaps:

  • Mudbray now found on Route 117.
  • Phanpy moved to Route 102.

Bug Fixes

Crashes Resolved: Fixed crashes related to Double Iron Bash and Mind Blown on some emulators.
Move Compatibility Fixes: Fixed move compatibility for multiple Pokémon.
Ability Adjustments: Swanna’s Hidden Ability changed from Hydration → No Guard.
Granite Cave Update: Flash is no longer required, and “It’s too dark to find anything” message was removed.
Dialogue Fixes: Corrected Scott’s dialogue in Petalburg.

Evolution Fixes:

  • Rockruff can now evolve into Lycanroc-Dusk form properly.
  • Applin can now evolve into Dipplin.
DexNav Adjustments: Fixed shiny chaining issue where Pokémon could spawn above the level cap.

Pokémon Emerald Imperium – Version 1.1 Changelog

Note: You will need to patch a new ROM for these changes to take effect. However, your existing save file should still work as long as the ROM and save file share the same name.
